Who is responsible
This policy is published by the publisher of Beauty Event Planner, shown as the developer on the app's Google Play page. There is one contact address for everything, including privacy and data requests: [email protected].
What the app works with
Everything Beauty Event Planner handles is typed in or chosen by you, and it is processed only on your device:
- events: name, type, date, start time, place, notes and budget;
- preparation tasks: title, category, date, time, duration, priority, status, salon or specialist, and notes;
- costs: title, category, amount, whether it is paid, and a note;
- the steps of the on-the-day timeline;
- lookbook photos you choose, with their caption and category;
- preferences: currency, first day of the week and 12 or 24-hour clock.
The app does not ask for and does not need your name, e-mail address, phone number, an account or payment details.
Where it is kept
- Plans, tasks, costs, the timeline and preferences are saved in the app's private storage on your phone.
- Lookbook photos are saved as resized copies in the app's private files folder. The originals in your gallery are not changed.
- Files made for sharing (a PDF or a backup file) are temporary files in the app's cache folder.
- Android cloud backup is switched off for the app, so this data is not copied to Google Drive by the system backup.
What leaves your phone
Nothing leaves your phone through the app. The published app has no internet permission and contains no code that sends data. There is no server, no account and no synchronisation.
Data leaves the device only when you do it yourself:
- Share as PDF, Share as text and Save a backup file hand a file or text to the Android share sheet. You choose the app that receives it, for example e-mail or a messenger, and that app's own privacy policy then applies.
- Write to us opens your own e-mail app. An e-mail you send to the contact address is used only to answer you.
Third parties
There are none inside the app: no analytics, no crash reporting, no advertising, no tracking and no social media components.
The app is distributed through Google Play. Google's handling of installs, updates and store statistics is governed by Google's own privacy policy and happens outside the app.
Permissions and device features
- The app asks for no permission while you use it: no location, camera, microphone, contacts, calendar, phone, SMS or storage permission, and no notifications.
- Photos are picked in the Android system photo picker, which gives the app only the picture you tap. The app cannot see the rest of your gallery.
- A backup file to restore is picked in the Android system file picker in the same way.
- The app's own calendar view does not read or write the calendar of your device.
- Links to this website and this policy open in your browser.
Keeping and deleting your data
- Your data stays on your device until you delete it.
- Single events, tasks, costs, timeline steps and photos can be deleted in the app. More → Delete all data removes everything, including the photos.
- Uninstalling the app removes all of its data from the device.
- We hold no copy of your data, so there is nothing for us to hand over, correct or delete on a server.
If you e-mail us
When you write to [email protected], we receive your e-mail address and whatever you put in the message. We use it only to reply, and we delete the correspondence when you ask us to. Under UK data protection law you may ask for a copy of these messages, ask us to correct or delete them, or object to our use of them, and you may complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk) if you think we have handled them wrongly.
This website
This website sets no cookies, runs no analytics or advertising scripts and loads nothing from other companies' servers. It has no forms. As with any website, the server that hosts it may keep standard technical logs of requests (such as IP address, time, page and browser type) for security and troubleshooting.
Children
Beauty Event Planner is intended for adults and is not directed at children.
Cost and advice
The app is free. There are no purchases, subscriptions or adverts. Treatment timings in its checklists are general guidance, not medical or professional advice.
Changes to this policy
If the app or this policy changes, the new text is published on this page and the date at the top is updated. The version currently in force is the one of 8 October 2026.
